The Kosmos Diamonds

My seven puppies born in November 2015 are now spread across the country, and are bringing great joy to new owners.  I am delighted to have found such wonderful homes for them all, and I sincerely thank their new owners for providing these loving homes.  Wonderful new families for my puppies is truly the "icing on the cake" when raising a litter.  Some puppies travelled by air to their new homes, others joined me on a long road trip and were delivered to their new doorsteps.  It was an absolute delight raising these gorgeous puppies and I am thrilled at how they have turned out.

The Kosmos Diamonds were all named after famous diamonds.  Their mum is Ch Tunamara Good As Gold (Goldie), and their dad is Ch Tunamara Hot August Night (Augie).  Augie already had numerous kids named after Neil Diamond songs, so these kids were instead named after diamonds, and became the Kosmos Diamond Litter.

These babies have their own photo album on Facebook following their progress from birth (and before!) until they left home.  It is a public album so you do not need to join Facebook to see it.

Goldie, stunning mum of the diamonds

This picture was taken at Goldie's first time back in the show ring, the day before her seven beautiful babies turned 12 weeks old.  Goldie did the most amazing job raising her babies, I am very proud of her.

Georgie, now Momo which in Japanese means fruit of the peach:

Sweet fawn and white girl - Loved by Mariko in Melbourne, and loving life with her new whippet brother Abby.  Momo regularly attends the Alpha Doggy PlayCare Centre where she is very popular, and I love being able to see lots of pictures of her on their Facebook page.  I just love their picture of Momo with her new whippet brother Abby.

Neil, now Luca:

Seal and white boy - Living a life of luxury with Rebecca in Queensland, where he has managed to wrap his new mum right around his little paws and can get away with anything!  Luca frequently appears on the "Queensland Italian Greyhounds" Facebook page and the photos prove just how much he is loved and enjoying life.  He now has a gorgeous brother called Red to play with.  The picture on the right is Luca and Sienna playing together, looking very grown up.

Bonnie:

Blue and white girl - Staying in the Flattum/Kosmos family, and living a life of extreme luxury with Ashleigh and James in Adelaide.  I could not be happier that this gorgeous Kosmos girl is providing so much love and enjoyment to people so important to me.

Clyde:

Fawn and white boy - Back in the Kosmos family after a short spell at Tunamara.  Clyde is enjoying a life of thorough luxury with Ashleigh, James and Bonnie in Adelaide.  He spent most of his first year enjoying life with his brother Kholo and sister Sienna.  Although he is a very large boy, Clyde had a very successful start to his show career being awarded multiple Dog Challenges, Best of Breeds and Class in Group awards.  His quality is outstanding and has allowed him success despite his one fault- the fact that there is a bit too much of him!  He truly has the most wonderful temperament and is the sort of dog who could belong to anybody.  He is also a fantastic dog with children- kind, playful and heaps of fun.

Kholo:

Extra cheeky blue boy with white trim - mine, mine and all mine!!  The moment he was born my decision not to keep anything from this litter was changed.  Following in the footsteps of my wonderful whippet Rugby, right from the start Kholo made sure he was destined to be here forever.  Rugby reincarnated perhaps, Kholo has wrapped himself around my heart in no uncertain terms.  Now desexed (a few too many entire males in this family), he is enjoying a show career as a neuter.

Sienna:

Another cheeky one, fawn and white girl (like her mum) - Arriving a mere three minutes after Kholo, and when I thought I was delivering Kholo's placenta, this girl also spoke to me from the start.  She too will be staying with me forever and hopefully continue the Kosmos line into the future.  She promises to look just like her beautiful mum.  Sienna is enjoying a very successful show career which started off in Brisbane, and she often beats her mum.  She has Bitch Challenges, Best of Breeds, Classes in Group and Classes in Show awards to her credit.

Dennis:

A very handsome black and white boy - Much loved, and living very happily with Kelly and Abbey in Adelaide, and his new friend Hugo the Schnauzer.  It warms my heart seeing pictures of him curled up with Hugo and looking so very happy and settled with his new family.
I ended up with almost a dozen people seriously interested in Dennis, and it was extremely hard having to disappoint so many.  I truly wish I had a Dennis for each who applied and offered a lovely home, but there is only one Dennis!
