Millie's a champion!

I am very proud that we managed to earn sufficient points to gain her title in one year (the first shows at which she was old enough to be awarded challenge certificates was in January 08).

Millie's trick of the day:  We sat down for dinner tonight and Millie, who doesn't eat her own food, was extremely keen to eat mine.  She was trying frantically to jump onto my lap, but just can't quite make it that high.  Next thing I knew, there she was on the table with her nose almost in my plate!  I can't believe how fast it happened: in one swift and almost invisible move she had jumped onto my chair behind me, and around me onto the table!

Guess who spent the rest of dinner time shut in the cage?!

Relaxing at home!

Millie has now been home for a couple of weeks and has settled in fantastically.  She is like a little whirlwind in the house and is a very entertaining comedian!  Italian Greyhounds are certainly much more hyperactive than Whippets and Millie and Gus have very similar temperaments!

Millie's first shows are on Saturday 27th October, which will be great fun - especially as she only walks on her lead when it suits her!!

Isn't she the most amazing colour?  What a little cutie!  She is five and a half weeks old and I do so wish I could see her playing with her brother and sister... they must be so cute.  It is far too long since I had a litter of puppies to play with!

I have now paid for her in full so I really feel she is mine (!), and she will be registered as Tuscamada Centre Stage:  partly because I think it sounds lovely, partly because she is coming to the centre of Australia, partly because I will be picking her up during my trip to see "Phantom of the Opera" live on stage, and partly because we hope she will take centre stage at shows!  (well, that would be really nice....)  I haven't decided on her "call name" yet, it will be something pretty and feminine.

Welcome - to my 'soon-to-be' new little girl, just today secured with my deposit :)
She was born on 21st July and I haven't decided on a name yet.  Thank you to Linda Matthews of  Tuscamada  in Avon, South Australia, for letting me buy her (and to the other 'interested party', for deciding not to, or I would have missed out!!)

I am like an annoying child with a new Christams present, walking around saying "puppy, puppy, puppy...", and driving everybody mad!!!
