About this web site

I published this web site, my first, on Sunday 31 December 2000, as a 2001 "New Year's present" to myself.  Between then and now I have published pages and sites all over the place!  I'm the only one who ever sees most of them, but one day I'll list them all here for others to see.

This site was originally hosted by OzEmail (who later became iinet, although their members' web sites kept their ozemail addresses!), the ISP I used to use for dial-up internet access.  When we progressed to broadband at home (of my son's choosing and in his name), I kept my OzEmail dial-up account just for my email address and website - pretty silly really.  My site is now hosted by SmartyHost, and I thoroughly recommend them.

There is no consistent theme running through my site.  I hand-code all my own HTML, and I do not use any form of WYSIWYG editor.  I really enjoy working with HTML, and I love trying out new looks and designs.  So if you're wondering why my pages don't match each other, that's why!

Like all web sites, this one will be updated from time to time as I add more information and pictures.  It is an eternal "work in progress" I like to think of it as a living thing.  The site will also change along with my knowledge of HTML, a passion of mine!

I am very prone to making mistakes, and would really like to be told if there are any problems with this web site (particularly if any of the links don't work).  So, if you find any broken links or other problems, please e-mail me and let me know.  In fact, I'd love to hear from you anyway, even if you don't find any problems,  so please feel free to e-mail me or sign my guestbook and tell me what you think.
