28 March 2005 to 26 July 2017, RIP beautiful boy.

Gus was my first Iggie (after downsizing from whippets), which makes him responsible for all the rest.  He was purchased as a pet, but when the Neuter Championship was introduced Gus commenced his showing career at the age of five.  Because Alice Springs happened to have the first show after the title was introduced, Gus became the first dog in the world to earn a Neuter Challenge and points towards his Neuter Championship, and went on to become the first Italian Greyhound to earn a Neuter Championship title- he therefore became knows as "First-in-the-world-Gussy"  - a bit of fun for us.  He also successfully completed his Endurance Test to earn his ET title, thus making him my only double-titled dog!  He was a real character and I am grateful to have had twelve wonderful years with him.  I miss him terribly and wish we could have had longer.
